Admissions
Basic information
Admission to all classes commences as per the date announced by the school management and may continue for two weeks’ period. However, in special cases school management is authorised to grant admission to students during academic session. AAMSG academic session start from February and end in December. Being the only private high school and recognized educational institution in the area, each and every Pakistani applicant is essentially accommodated.
Class level
Class level admission criteria:
- All new students (except Nursery and KG) must sit for an admission test
- Admission tests will be based on major concepts in core subjects i.e., English, Urdu and Math for grade I – III
- Admission test for grade IV and above will be based on major concepts in core subjects i.e. English, Urdu, Math & Science
- Admission will be granted to students who pass the admission test and scored 50% marks
- Students who marginally fail the admission may be granted admission in one step the lower grade (subject to space availability in the class)
Procedure
Candidates would be required to go through test and interview procedures set by the admission committee of the school. All candidates will be assessed in these subjects; Urdu, English, Maths and Science. Students need to achieve 50% marks in those tests to be in the classes applied for. Test result will be shared with parents within three days. Students need to follow with the time and date and must bring their own stationery needed for the tests.
Parents fill in the admission form and pay the registration fees after which they receive:
- Process
- Relevant Fee structure slip
- Appointment card with testing date & time
- Registration receipt
- Prospectus purchase cash receipt
- Prospectus/ newsletter
- Parents of short listed students will be invited for registration, along with the following documents:
- Birth certificate (attested photocopy)
- Form B(attested photocopy)
- Parent’s CNIC (attested photocopy)
- School Leaving Certificate
- Report Card of last examination
- 2 Photographs (passport size)
- Parents will pay admission and other fee by dates given and must sign admission form.
Uniform
Grab any desk in the common area — 1 day/mo included. Bring your device, pick a seat, and get to work. Also includes:
- Girls must wear green checked kameez, dark green shalwar, black shoes and socks in summer and include traditional cap and green coat in winter.
- Boys must ware green checked shirt, grey pent, black shoes and socks in summer and the same in winter including dark green coat and traditional Hunza woollen cap.
